Our Revolution

Shark Revolution is a communication project of an International non profit organization. The objective of this project is to re-establish the reality of our species and to propose a truce to regulate the relationship between our two communities.
We have decided to take the initiative so that you can see what our day to day life is like.

We have invited a team to live side by side with us and produce a photographic
project for adults and children.

Our website will follow our adventure. We will produce a black and white photographic exhibition. An artistic book in black and white with the best photos of our encounters. We will produce books with children’s stories with the most representative elements of our life.

Our Reality

Yes, we are predators. But our public image doesn’t correspond to the reality. The fear we provoke has been magnified thanks to sensationalist films. Attacks on humans are accidental; humans do not form part of our diet. There are more than 400 different species of which only a few are known to have attacked humans.

Every year, at least 70,000,000 of us have our fins cut off and are then thrown back into the sea to die in pain.
In the last 20 years our population has fallen by more than 90% and our survival is in your hands.
Our role in the marine ecosystem has evolved over millions of years and we are the key to the balance of the marine populations.

The Approach

Humankind makes a lot of effort to improve communication between each other but did not yet applied the same amount of time to understand our nature.

A number of experiences have been made of individuals and organizations to interact with us so and our guests will tell the story to understand us better and cohabite with us.

We believe that it’s only through knowledge and information or through sensibilization that we can actually mobilize people for making a change.
